Evanston, your vote for Congress is only months away. 🔥
THE QUESTION EVERYONE IS ASKING:
👉 Where is the full Public Works investigation report?
Residents have spent more than a year waiting for answers.
Not a summary.
Not a filtered narrative.
The actual findings.
But instead, we’ve gotten:
❌ No report
❌ No timeline
❌ No explanation
❌ Zero accountability
Serious concerns sparked this investigation, including discrimination, retaliation, unequal treatment of Black employees, questionable hiring practices, toxic culture, and HR involvement.
Now, NEW unverified allegations are circulating privately.
They are not confirmed.
They are not proven.
But the City refuses to say whether these concerns are part of the investigation.
If nothing happened, say so.
If the allegations are false, say so.
If the inquiry expanded, say so.
Leadership responded instantly when lakefront issues hit the media.
But when Black employees inside Public Works raised concerns?
Silence.
Delay.
Deflection.
And with Mayor Daniel Biss campaigning for Congress, people are asking:
If he won’t fight for vulnerable people here at home…why should we believe he’ll fight harder in Washington?
This matters.
Transparency isn’t a tagline.
It’s accountability.
