Recently, we discovered a taste of home right here in Evanston.
After living in New Orleans during my childhood and college years…and with my partner growing up in northern Louisiana…we know good Creole cuisine.
We had been searching for those authentic Louisiana flavors, especially a fried oyster po’ boy and chicken gumbo. Chef Byron Glapion of 4Suns Kitchen delivered!
From the food to the conversation, it felt like a little piece of Louisiana right here in Evanston.
I even forgot to record the meal because we enjoyed it so much!
