The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL, Public Law 117-58), was signed into law on November 15, 2021. For BLM, BIL is helping us tackle some major issues, including wildland fire, categorical exclusion from forest management, ecosystem restoration, orphaned well cleanup, and clean energy technologies on mine lands.
