On March 12, 2019, Public Law 116-9, John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act was signed. It's designations and decisions have prompted the Green River District Office to prepare National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) projects. The BLM hosted public meetings via Zoom on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, from 3-5 p.m. MST and Nov. 18, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. MST. for interested parties to learn more about the planning process.
