Dr. Merit (sue-code-vich) Cudkowicz is the Director of the Sean M. Healey & AMG Center for ALS, Chief of Neurology at Mass General, Director and the Julieanne Dorn Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. (sue-code-vich)’s Cudkowicz’s research and clinical activities are dedicated to the study and treatment of people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She is one of the founders and past Co-Chairs of the Northeast ALS Consortium (NEALS), and is launching the first platform trial initiative in ALS, the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial, a program that will greatly accelerate therapy development in ALS.
Dr. Nazem(ah-toss-ee) Atassi is the Global Head of Early Neuro-Development at (sah-no-fee)Sanofi where he oversees the company’s early clinical development portfolio in neuroscience. He completed his Masters in Medical Sciences (MMSc) at Harvard Medical School, Neurology training at Boston Medical Center, Fellowship in neuromuscular disorders at Mass General Hospital (MGH), and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at (MIT). He continues to attend clinic at Mass General Hospital where he cares for ALS patients and their families.
