The Totes Ready for Summer Blog Hop inspired me to join in. I'm spending some time today working on it in new to me Berroco Remix Light.

I've been wanting to try this yarn out for a while so I ordered some to carry in my Yarn Crafts and Coffee shop online and America's Antique Mall in Melbourne, Florida.
I love that this yarn is of 100% recycled fibers - nylon, cotton, acrylic, silk and linen! It feels like it favors the cotton and linen, and doesn't stretch much so I think this is a great project for it. I think I will try a cardigan next.

When I thought of a tote bag made of a lightweight yarn, I thought my Volume One series would be perfect as I'd have more rounds to show the sampler stitch pattern! I ran to Michaels to get a tote bag I could use as a liner (so I don't have to make my own), and am working this design to fit it.
🧶 Designing as I go but will share my pattern with you as soon as it's ready 🙂
