Scoring run of this mixed scrolling shmup (hori + vert) developed by Konami and
published in 1996.
Second chapter of the "Salamander" spin off series and part of the Gradius universe,
it retain the same gameplay of the first game with some addition,
most notably the launching homing option that are also a source of scoring.
Visually not outstanding for a 1996 arcade, especially compared to Xexex from 5 years before,
it does offer a very good OST with some remixed themes from the first chapter
and proposed on the second loop.
In this run i was chasing 1.8M Pts but i failed to execute the strat at boss 3 of 2nd loop,
i did shoot too many options and end up lacking the fourth option necessary for milking points,
i did lose more than 50k Pts for this.
I played on Wolfmame 0.285 with 30Hz autofire, i used 2P ship for a more manageable rank.
