Team 0%. CLM level again. This one has 5 long survival rooms. I beat this level surprisingly fast, possibly because I was focusing a lot. My farthest death was at the final jump of the shell ride when I had 3 coins, but 2 attempts later I beat the level. Never actually died on the chain chomp room. Died everywhere else though. Fun level, not as tedious as the title says, at least when you're the one playing. :p

3 short precision levels.
Punctilicious P-Ed-à-Terre (CI2) (0:00)
Some consistency, three low jumps into top p jumps into upwards trump jumps, ending with a first frame jump. CI stands for Château INCREDIBLEPACO.
Fastidious Fortress (CI3) (0:40)
Short precision speedrun, with two first frame jumps at the end, the second one going into a tall-ish trump jump.
The Onset of Logophobia: Atticus (1:23)
I almost one shot the level, but I died at the key door. And then it took me a while to get to there again. Anyway, it was pretty cool to see Finch upload a word precision level.

![The Triforce of Precision by kroolgamer [MARIO MAKER 2]
A Precision Crew level featuring Link and claws. Its harder than it looks, specially if you dont understand claws, and I didnt, I wasnt sure why I just couldnt get the trick sometimes. I was starting to think it was as tight as a trump jump, so I left the level alone for a little while. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong the level didnt feel as hard anymore, it wasnt free, but it felt beatable at least. And that was all I needed. So how did I figure out what I was doing wrong? Well, lets talk about it.
The removal and ban of trump jump levels from the crew was huge news when it happened. It turned beating every level in the crew into a reasonable goal for me and it gave me the motivation I needed to finally beat a lot of the hard levels that I was too scared to play in the past, but also a lot of levels I hated. https://twitter.com/CN_A1ways/status/1247868860688039937 was one of them, weird claw jump consistency, I never knew how people actually time that jump, and whenever people told me their strats, it didnt work for me, so I had to come up with my own visual cue for it, which required me to download the video and watch it frame by frame to see if I could find a pattern and... And that led to me understanding that the claws movement was not just a visual thing, it actually matters in that level, and also in Triforce of Precision, but I didnt put that much thought into it back then.
A few days after the trump jump ban the crew moved to a new system, instead of using a spreadsheet, we started using the site https://makerteams.net/ which makes it much easier to keep track of levels you havent cleared. I then realized there were only three uncleared crew levels left at the time, one of them was a one jump level, the second one was my own level, Pokémon Journeys, and third was Triforce of Precision. I cleared that one jump level soon after noticing that, meaning that if I beat this, my level would be the only uncleared level left in the crew and that was the final push to get me to try this level. Once I was in editor I remembered the weird claw jump consistency level I mentioned earlier, so I start experimenting with it while paying close attention to the claws movements, and just like I noted before, it mattered, if the claw was on the wrong side I wouldnt land on the spike ball. And that was the mistake I kept making on the past, it wasnt as tight as a trump jump, like I previously though, it was just timing. So yeah, I figured it out (again), its just 3 magic words: Claws are dumb. (I thought I knew that already).
So as you can see, I beat the level soon after that, thanks to that information, and like I said earlier, it was the last uncleared level left in the crew, not counting my own, so it felt pretty good to beat the level knowing that. That didnt mean I had cleared every level though, one accomplishment at a time, I was still missing a few, and I was really scared of two of them, but I will get to that once I upload my clear videos of them. This is the story of my journey to complete every precision crew level. To Be Continued...

3 Precision Crew levels Katz made on his alt account.
The Z7 is... (0:00)
A parody of my SMM1 level called The Z7 is bad. but its harder, and the ending vine is a lot more unforgiving cause you only get one shot. I tried pause buffering for it, but still failed, and randomly got it without pause buffering on this attempt. Clearly luck.
Zenos Fridge (1:21)
This one was much easier for me, some jumps in it are pretty scary though.
#64 Shyguynium (2:18)
Definitely the hardest of the 3. I remade the level a long time before I played it and the piranha icicle part destroyed me, I could rarely pull it off in practice, let alone do it on clear attempts. The first time made it past it I also got to the end of the level but died there. Unfortunate, because I was sure I wouldnt die there. Then I started failing the shell part, the thwomp part and even the skull ride somehow. It was bad, so it took a very long time to clear this level, I got destroyed by the second half, but at least I didnt have a second death at the end.

Gameplay starts at 0:06:32.
Streaming simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube. I mainly play Endless Super Expert, currently playing it with skips to reach 7777 levels. If you dont like that Im skipping, I dont like it either tbh, playing without skipping is much more fun, but I started this journey and I plan to finish it. I will go back to playing Super Expert No Skip after reaching 7777 levels in this current Super Expert run.
If you want to join the twitch streams and be able to use channel points to redeem stuff such as making me like a level I normally wouldnt, making me change character for 3 lives, making me save a yoshi or making me go back for world record on a level, go here: https://www.twitch.tv/the_z7
Sometimes you may hear some talking in the background, thats my wife gaby_mg, she usually plays online with friends around the same time that I stream. Sometimes our dogs will bark a lot too, please bear with it when it happens.
I currently havent enabled any kind of monetization on youtube so if you wish to support me monetarily, which is completely optional, consider doing it through twitch or, I suppose theres also this option: https://streamlabs.com/the_z7/tip SE road to 7777 (Levels 6137 to 6185) | 06/29/2026 [MARIO MAKER 2]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/cMmaAKj06Go/mqdefault.jpg)
![Bootside Down Jumps by Z7 [MARIO MAKER 2]
This was my first SMM2 level. Yes, was. Also wrong title, I wish I thought of it when I uploaded it. Far from my best work, but I can explain why. Also since were just over one month into the game I thought itd be cool to show my stats so far. My current goal is to to beat 10000 levels (cause you unlock some trash for it). After that I might finally try multiplayer stuff. As for why Im deleting this level... Usually in SMM1, I would upload a really dumb level for my birthday. So for my birthday this year I wanted to do the opposite, and delete one. I was also too lazy to make a new level, and I wanted to check whether Id lose or gain maker points from deleting it, ended up losing over 150 of them, which is less than I expected. Anyway, Im 21 at the time that Im writing this.
On June 27th, I spent most of the night editing the SMM1 compilation video that I uploaded on SMM2s release day, and at midnight of June 28th I was still not done, so even though SMM2 was already downloaded on my switch, I just kept editing, eventually getting very tired. At around 3am I finally started playing, but I wasnt very excited anyway. The very first thing I tried to do (other than trump jumps) was remake my One Piece music level. But that just went terribly, the new physics made recreating that level so annoying and the editor controls were confusing at the time. Combine that with how tired I was and yeah, my first few hours with the game were bad.
Eventually a friend who was watching my secret alternate account stream asked if I was liking the game, and since she was also streaming I went to her chat to reply, cause you know, why reply in my own chat? :p Anyway, she started making a boot jump consistency level, and didnt remember how to set it up so she wanted me to show her. Then I had the brilliant idea to make a boot jump consistency level as well, but upside down. I didnt think I was going to finish my music level anytime soon, and I wanted to upload something on day 1, so this level happened. If anyone was wondering why the description says Blame Aona its because she gave me the idea. Its fine though, I probably would have made something much worse if it wasnt this, so if anything, maybe the description should have been Thank Aona, I guess.
It took so long to upload because I was tired, not used to my new controller yet and not used to upside down levels. And I had made the timer too tight at first. So I kept having to make the level shorter so it could be possible. At least recording the clear video didnt take long at all. I feel bad for one person who spent multiple days grinding this, like Id see him commenting he timed out right at the end of the level on different days. And he beat it recently, but now the level is gone. I dont know if he watches my videos, but if he does, and he reads this... sorry? :p
Why am I making this description so long? This level isnt special. Whatever, Im surprised the name Z7 wasnt taken. It took forever before I finally decided to check course world, and most big streamers didnt get their name, but mine was available so... cool. Though the name Z7 wasnt the first one I tried, the first one I tried was Trash but that one was taken! For some reason people dont believe me when I tell them I actually tried to use Trash as my name, which is surprising cause I often call myself trash in front of them, so why would they think Im lying? I guess it doesnt matter if they do or not though, I know I did it.

6 Precision Crew levels by J.Z.G.
Frigid Frostland (0:00)
Very cool, I like levels that have icicles as the main obstacle instead of spikes, munchers or piranhas. Icicles are very underrated.
Anemias Piranha Pit (0:44)
The jumps at the top left corner and the bottom right corner were pretty hard for me, the rest is relatively easy.
Bowser Jr.s Bustling Base (1:29)
I played this with my new controller, which arrived a few days ago and Im still not used to it, so it took a while. Thowmp precision is also underrated.
Abysmal Apparatus (2:36)
This level looks insane, but I got lucky and beat it pretty fast.
Overgrown Onslaught (3:20)
This one looks easy, but I was wrong and also got very unlucky, so it took a long time to clear I even decided to pause buffer for one jump, cause I didnt want to learn it normally.
The Fallen #TP (4:30)
J.Z.G. posted pictures of this level before he uploaded it, so I was able to practice it in advance. Unfortunately it was changed a bit in the final version, so my recreation was wrong and I had to relearn a few tricks, it became shorter overall though, which helped a lot. I didnt expect to beat this one as fast I did, even though I practiced it a lot, I also expected some deaths at the final jump, but there was none of that this time.

2 Precision Crew levels.
Offensive movement (0:00)
Its short and has some pretty tight tricks. Coming up with strats to do the tricks more consistently was fun and satisfying, except the one at between the boo and the saw, I couldnt make that more consistent. Would have helped if I knew the hitbox a little better, but I just tried getting lucky. Thankfully no deaths on the last trick, but I did die once to the bottom of the sideways piranha. I didnt see the yoshi at the top of the ending screen when I watched 193s clear video sadly, otherwise I would have taken my time to kill it, but by the time I noticed Yoshi, it was too late.
Dangerous castle 3 (1:07)
Very long, but Id say its a lot easier than Dangerous castle 2. On this one there isnt a trick that sticks out for extending the grind as much as the spring part did in Dangerous castle 2. I guess if I had to pick, Id say the hardest part was the thwomp trick because it can be awkward, but even then it didnt kill me that much. I think this might even be easier than the first Dangerous castle actually, not sure though, been a while since I played it. But I still managed to die a ton near the end, sometimes because I was dumb, other times because my controller disconnected so Mario would keep running and hit a spike wall, but I guess its pretty funny thinking back about it.

Difficult precision crew level. Mostly difficult to figure out because you cant practice any of the rooms so I had to figure them out blind. And even though you can see the final room in the thumbnail of the level I didnt think it was possible to get the 50 coin, so I was confused for a while and had to recreate that setup to practice the jump in editor.

2 Precision Crew levels.
The snakes castle #TP (0:00)
It has some tight jumps but the most difficult part of the level was figuring out what to do.
Claws and saws #TeamPrecision (1:00)
It honestly looked impossible for me just from the thumbnail. I remade it the first jump editor the day it was uploaded but I had no idea what to do, and my laughable lack of knowledge on claws at the time wasnt helping. Then on a random day watching someones stream I expressed my desire of seeing a clear video of this level, so the next day, hatepool, the creator of the level sent it to me. The level looked crazy to me, and he did it with joycons, so I couldnt use my usual excuse of not wanting to play it because I wouldnt be able do it with joycons. I recreated the whole, tried to practice it but I was not consistent at anything so I left it alone for a while, planning to come back to it whenever I had more experience.
3 months later the switch to the https://makerteams.net/ system happened, the option to see what levels I had not cleared let me know I was only missing 2 levels, and this was one of them. Getting to this point was an experience that no one should have to go through, honestly. There are some very fun levels in the team, a lot of which I show in my videos, but theres also a lot of terrible ones. Long car levels, offscreen line up levels and some one jump levels that are so specific people cant even tell what they did differently when they beat them. For some of them I needed to analyze their clear videos frame by frame, to try to come up with strats for them, most of these strats involed a lot of pause buffering, which made them annoying to play, though at that point I can hardly even consider that playing. So even though trump jumps were banned, it didnt mean all the garbage was gone from the team, garbage I never would have played if the ban didnt happen, but if thats the only negative thing I can say about the ban, then its a great thing overall.
Its pretty fitting that my next obstacle after kroolgamers claw level from my previous video, is also a claw level, one that he apparently asked for. Now I felt more prepared, I had the double confirmation about claws being dumb, and over 5 months of experience playing with joycons, so after tons of attempts I finally beat the level. The short endurance section before the pipe is a bit easier than it seems, but entering the pipe was hard because I often got too much momentum or pulled back more than I needed to. I died on the last two claws twice, but thankfully I didnt die on the final jump, which surprised me, considering I failed it so much in editor. Anyway, like I mentioned earlier, there were only 2 levels in the crew I had not cleared, and this was one of them, meaning only one level was left, the one currently considered to be the hardest level in the crew as of the time that Im writing this. This is the story of my journey to complete every precision crew level. To Be Continued...

Had to make one last level before the end of the decade. As the level description says, this started as a pretty easy generic speedrun level, but then I put spikes and the level became the classic Z7 style, where theres no actual theme and I just put random tricks that dont always fit together. At least it reminded of the SMM1 days. The second section was heavily inspired by colo(u)rs Frosty & Forgotten level, which he deleted, unfortunately. The subworld and the sword dash section were inspired by sections in one of my SMM1 levels. The ending is not a real trump jump btw, the gap is pretty big so I didnt die to it in upload attempts.
I beat the original version of this in just minutes so I buffed it a lot, but also made the subworld shorter. One of the major buffs was the bomb timing in the sword dash section, originally youd just start sword dash and hit a p-switch on the ground, but the bomb adds around 4 extra seconds and timing pressure. For some reason controlled jumps and edge jumps are harder while Link in his sword dash state, so that section felt like the hardest part of the level. Just something to point out, but maybe that was just me.
