Synopsis: The Rugrats family vacation takes an exotic detour when their boat capsizes and they become shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island. With the jungle as their new backyard, the babies race wildly from one dangerous adventure to the next… soon to discover that someone else is on the island. Trivia:
• Originally titled The Rugrats Meet The Wild Thornberrys.
• When this movie was originally released, a scratch and sniff stunt called "Odorama" was used. Special numbered cards, each representing a particular smell, were available at participating Burger King restaurants and Blockbuster Video stores. Participants picked up the cards, then took them to the movie theater showing this movie. When a particular number flashed on the screen, viewers scratched off the scent that had that particular number on it.
• The only Rugrats movie to earn a PG rating by the MPAA.
• The only Rugrats movie to be produced in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
The Copyright Laws of the United States recognizes a “fair use” of copyrighted content.
