Synopsis: The mystical land of Jhamora is torn apart by the enmity of two races: the winged Nohrin and the terrestrial Lockni. When Delgo, a Lockni teenager, begins a forbidden friendship with Kyla, a Nohrin princess, hostility between their people increases. This sets the stage for Sedessa, an exiled ruler, to set in motion her plan for revenge and to reclaim her throne.

• The film was released on 2,160 screens and grossed a total of over $690,000 against a budget of $40,000,000. It had the lowest per-theater gross on its opening weekend of any wide release in American film history. The record was broken in 2012 with the release of The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure.
• As part of the marketing for this movie, the production team uploaded Digital Dailies to the internet, allowing fans to follow production as it happened. The Digital Dailies got an average of five hundred thousand hits a month. Many of the production's animators were contacted by university professors and Hollywood agents on the strength of these Digital Dailies alone.
The Copyright Laws of the United States recognizes a “fair use” of copyrighted content.
