After servicing this really well performing Rotel from 1981 (Cybernet 134 chassis), it was time to test it.

Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point for a low power static test. The radio was set for 4.0W on full power & 0.4W (400mW) on low power. A standard replacement mike was used throughoiut. At the end, the factory original microphone was demonstraded through to our base station.

Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
