thang010146 | Rotation transmission for a C-shaped disk 2 @thang010146 | Uploaded 2 months ago | Updated 2 days ago
Input: pink shaft having pinion and sprocket.
The red shaft (having pinion and sprocket) receives rotation from the pink shaft through the chain indicated by the blue line.
The yellow C-shaped gear ring is centered on green rollers.
It meshes with the two pinions.
The axial distance between the pink shaft and the red shaft is large enough to ensure that at any given time there is at least one pinion meshing with the yellow gear ring.
This mechanism is used in cable wrapping machines.
