In the first of a series on structural engineer Brian Mullin, we see how conspiratorial thinking can cloud the judgement of even professionals. In this episode we review vectors (how we calculate a roof load for example) and how promoting a conspiratorial narrative can cause a professional engineer to misunderstand a high school level physics problem.
I am addressing this again as these videos were featured recently on 'Globebusters'. There has never been a retraction put out by Mr. Mullin. As these videos are still making the rounds on the conspiracy websites, I felt the need to address them now.
