Today I'm with my friends Shaun & Kiki in their neighbourhood in the back streets of Banda Aceh experiencing the process of creating a classic Indonesian health tonic called Jamu! is a traditional Indonesian herbal medicine and wellness culture that has been practiced for centuries. It's primarily a herbal medicine made from natural materials like roots, bark, flowers, seeds, and leaves. It's often used to maintain health, boost immunity, and treat various ailments. So many benefits, and was super interesting to see the similar ingredients that you may find in the roots tonic in Jamaica brewed by Rastafarians. Please excuse my basic Bahasa Indonesia language skills, I'm pretty slow with the new languages!
