Day 29
We had to go through a series of rooms and minecarts until we finally found the monster cursing this place. It was a HUGE rock monster that kept trying to squish me!
I managed to find a few weak points and shoot them, but it was difficult since some of its weak points were on its back. Zelda pointed me to a nearby minecart and I used that to reach its eye and shoot it. The monster tried to grab me many times, but I shot its hands.
I was on my last arrow when I made that shot to the eye. I was so worried I'd miss, but I hit my mark! I got off the minecart and stabbed the monster in the head. It was completely destroyed and the red force gem appeared. The pedestal appeared and the tracks leading to the Tower of Spirits were restored.
It was nightfall when we left the Fire Temple. We decided to stop at Goron Village to prepare for our trip to the Tower of Spirits. Although, I'm thinking about putting that on hold since there are a couple gorons who seem to need help.
