Day 17 (Part 2)
The rest of the tower was filled with all sorts of traps. I was barely able to get past many of them. I nearly lost the Master Sword. Thankfully, I found some better mail. It was red, which looked decent on me.
But the worst was yet to come. Agahnim survived our previous battle. My old rage returned, but Agahnim was ready for me. He had split himself into three and all of them cast spells at me. It was difficult to tell who was the real one, but the Master Sword knew when I swung to deflect Agahnim's spells. Agahnim didn't cast the spell at its full strength. He definitely remembered what happened last time.
With the other illusions of Agahnim casting spells, it was difficult to keep up. My shield was able to deflect a few, but one spell got me badly in the chest. It knocked me into a wall. The red mail helped a bit, but it still hurt. Agahnim was approaching me believing he had won. I knew this was my only chance to finish him for good, so I pretended to be severely injured.
As soon as Agahnim cast a spell meant to finish me, I immediately swung my sword and the magic blasted him right in the face. He fell dead at my feet. I stabbed him through the heart just to be absolutely sure.
A ghostly figure rose from Agahnim though. It was a blue pig-like creature wielding a large trident. I heard the maidens and Zelda whisper that this was Ganon. I was ready to fight him, but Ganon transformed into a bat and fled. I had the strange idea to use the flute to call the bird.
The bird carried me with ease. We followed Ganon all the way back to the Pyramid of Power. Ganon broke through the top of the pyramid and went inside. I must follow after him!
