Sometimes you just want to scream! So I put together this screamy rhythmic patch on my Neutral Labs Elmyra 2. All the sounds are created on the Elmyra and there are a couple of key parts of this patch.
Firstly setting the Mod to low pass filter (pink) allows you to filter out the audio of the voices by turning the mod knob fully counter clockwise. I set voice 2 to the shorted envelope and then filtered out the audio with the mod lpf. I then patched the envelope through the attenuator into the tone of voice 1, which allowed me to shape a drum sound. Voice 1 and 2 were both triggered by lfo 2 patched into the gate input.
I am also using a custom vactrol expansion card in the distortion which allowed me to use another copy of voice 2’s envelope to shape the distortion in a rhythmic way.
I set up the filter to scream with resonance and started jamming.
