My submission for the Hardware Jams May Day Weekend Challenge.
Having grown up going to lots of barn dances and ceilidhs I tried to capture some of the vibe of those dances in this Jam. Who knew that synth folk could be so much fun to make!
All the sounds were made on my DIY eurorack modular synth and sequenced by a beatstep pro.
Always Learning

I'm a strong believer in continuous improvement and always trying to learn something new. While creating this jam I tried to put a more complex melody together than I have done previously. I only have very basic music theory knowledge and will be looking to learn more going forwards.
My DIY Synth Rules
════════════
I aim to meet the following criteria when adding modules to my synth:
◦ I must have constructed it.
This can be a kit or from scratch but I must have soldered it
◦ The audio signal path should be analog.
I'm trying to avoid digital modules so I can learn more about analog electronics
◦ Learn something new
Try to learn something while constructing the module. Learn about the circuits, experiment with different signal processing options. Be creative.
◦ Have fun
