Here's a ramble through my impressions of Sony's PXW-X180 camcorder (identical to the PXW-X160 except that the latter does not feature WiFi or GPS).

It's a 3 x 1/3" chip professional camcorder aimed at news, documentary and event work, and films in two flavour of XAVC plus XDCAM. It'll even do standard definition if you want ;-)
