I tested the xDrive and the Gear Drive. The gear drive smashed all my expectations. I seriously didn't think it would work. Now, I am sure that my Beta Simpsons will use this drive. It will allow me to remove 3 springs and 6 bearings. The spring is no longer limiting the speed or the strength of Simpson. I could easily design Simpson to have speeds of 1000mm/s or be able to pick up 10lb weights. I will probably compromise with 500mm/s and 5lb weights. :-)
