If you have ever been in a situation where you discovered one of your switches had gone bad but was no longer available, it might be worth your time to see if you can repair it. Because my shop is right next to an auto parts store, I've had a few of their customers coming in my shop asking if I could repair their switches, and I've been surprised at how many of them can be restored to near new condition. In this video I go over some of the fundamentals of switch repair.
