After publishing my last video on repairing remote controls using conductive paint, I was informed that the carbon impregnated rubber can often be restored by roughing it up with paper, but If you do find it necessary to use conductive paint please watch the video in the link at the bottom of this text.
The only conductive paint I found that worked well contained 50 percent silver.
I bought mine from a seller on ebay. If you use these words when searching ebay you will find the same kind of conductive paint I purchased. "Silver Conductive Paste Ink Paint PCB Repair Membrane remote 50% Silver 3 grams"
