The TV in this video is a Hisense. Model #55K6010GWN. This TV was would not turn on. On occasion the word Hisense would flash across the LCD display when you pressed the power button, but it would immediately turn off again. I found a shorted diode on the power supply board. The location of the Diode was VD806 Part number was 1N5408. Because it was bad I decided to use a Diode with a 6 Amp current capacity in the hope it would last longer. The Diode I used was a 60S10-TP. Here is the digikey Part # 60S10-TPMSCT-ND.
