If God's plan for Paradise failed before the first week was over, why is it now seen as the foundation of faith?
God's plan did not include commandments, priests, scriptures or redemption.
The Fall of man in the Garden of Eden changed his plans for paradise. What would his plan have looked like if he'd had his way, and could he have behaved differently? What if he had behaved more humanely? And why is it that his mistakes are still revered?

ERRATA: The Bible quote given at 9:52 is incorrect. It is meant to read John 8:59. While you're there, read the whole chapter. As you do, in your mind cast today's fundamentalist, pentecostal, evangelical type Christians as the Jews. And in the role of Jesus place some unknown individual who arrives on the scene telling them that before Jesus, He was. Forget what Jesus would do, consider what today's Jesus Freaks would do. Would they accuse him of having a demon? Probably. Followed by a 'double-ought' exorcism.
And yet, in *their* minds, atheists like myself are cast as the unseeing Jews. It's an interesting chapter. Go, read it! ;¬)
