Playthrough of Real Robot Battle Line Roche Route for the PS1 part 21. In this part i will be taking on the Cosmos People map after making sure everyone is setup correctly. Before starting the map i check again the parts equipped and i swap Gabley for Amu so that she can pilot the Ashura Temple. I max out on Upgrades of the Capricos and Walker Gallier, max out the Armor of the Ashura Temple, nearly max out the Armor of the L-GAIM MK II while getting its Mobility above 100 and some Energy upgrades as well. The enemies in this map are very diversified with Generic Pilots on Galbaldy-Betas, Hizacks, GMs II, Marasais and Barzams with their sole Commander being Dimitri on Zakrello. You also have a lot of new allies in this map with some returning ones as well with those being Amuro Ray on the Hi-Nu Gundam, Char Aznable on the Zeong ,Ramba Ral on the Rick Dom which is a better variation of the regular Dom that has the Space Use ability, Anavel Gato on the GP02 Physalis Gundam, Haman Karn on the Qubeley and finally 2 Generic Pilots with 1 on the Zaku II and the other on the Gelgoog. Now this map is actually pretty much free because of one thing: This is the ONLY map in the entire game where its possible to use the Physalis Gundam Signature Atomic Bomb as the CPU will never use it. The Atomic Bomb is the 2nd strongest attack in the whole game having a staggering base power of 7300 while having a +90% Hit Ratio bonus which no other move in the game has it as it caps at a +50%. More then half of the opposition can be taken out with just 1 Atomic Bomb and that’s what will change the strategy in this map abit: If you wanna go for more money as now the party has a total of 5 Pilots that has the Good luck command (Cham, Lilith, Dyke, Elche and Amu) you will have to aim the Atomic Bomb to miss some enemies so that theres enough alive for all possible uses of Good Luck or… just go ham with. In this particular time i go ham with it but what i do, is to make sure that at least Dimitri, which will be caught in the blast eventually, gets defeated with Good Luck active by Show then i use the Atomic Bomb. After that the strategy is pretty simple as its just the usual Disturbance strat while the remaining enemies are destroyed while Good Luck is active to maximize money gained. One thing in maps like this in regards to the Dorans is that while for the game they are considered Flying Units for the purposes of not being affected by terrain Modifiers, they cannot move in those hole like spots in the map. This is because Dorans cant actually fly but instead can hover a great distance above ground so they have this unique “limitation” on them. Once this map is over, every character minus the Generic Pilots will join the part and you get the Gelgoog and the Zaku II as well. One thing to keep in mind is that after this map, the Atomic Bomb of the Physalis Gundam is removed from its moveset permanently. Don’t bother with Haman and Gato as they wont stick around for long. Amuro will be the only one that you can fully count from now on. Char will stay but sometimes wont be available or will be locked to specific mechs and Ramba Ral will stay but… he sucks and so does the Rick Dom at this point so don’t bother with him. The production Zaku II has less Mobility then the Char Custom one and the Gelgoog has less Mobility and Move range then his Custom also so not good copies to invest sadly. Later i max out the Armor of the L-GAIM MK II and check the parts around before saving the game. As always i will be detailing everything in the comments.
