Playthrough of Real Robot Battle Line Poseidal Route for the PS1 part 20. In this map i take on the Maria Trapped Map after making sure everyone is setup correctly or parts and upgrades. This Map is an unique one as already at the beginning there is a twist as it takes from a plot piece directly from the Combat Mecha Xabungle where Maria Maria gets kidnapped. For the enemies initially we only have Commanders piloting Dorans with those being Carron Carn, Lutov, Patta, Leslie and Ai. These are Women brainwashed by Innocent which does get mentioned in the game. For the actual party, Birin Nada and Toron Bilan will be forced into engagement with Toron Piloting a Custom Caprico. In the actual Anime Toron was introduced on just one episode and immediately died in the same episode but in Real Robot Battle Line her role gets extended quite abit. The gimmick of this Map is that none of the Commanders can die until turn 4 in which Daba’s Crew will rescue Maria. All of them are initially with only 50 Morale so they will deal way less damage and take way more in return. The goal is to basically soften them up enough but dont kill until turn 4 rolls around. If one of them gets killed at anytime before turn 4, it wont result in a game over but Maria will be killed for good and wont be able to join the party. Once Turn 4 rolls around, Maria will be rescued and Daba and crew will join the party from this point on while the enemy will get a Reinforcement of a bunch of Duggers being piloted by Generic Pilots. Kyao will still be piloting the Dsserd but Leccee, Amu and Daba are all on different mechs: Daba is now piloting the L-GAIM MK II which can transform into the Prowler while Lilith is alongside Daba, Amu is now the one piloting the original L-GAIM while Leccee is now piloting the Novel Dsserd. The strategy for this map before turn 4 is to bait the Dorans into attacking the Aura Battlers with their ranged attacks as best as possible and if they go for melee just Defend the hit as with them at only 50 Morale, they wont do shit for damage. After turn 4 rolls, the Disturbance strategy will be used and i also make sure to finish as many enemies as possible using the Good Luck spirit Command as now not only Cham has it but Lilith and Amu has it as well. Potential money earned in this map is very high because the enemies have 5 Commanders and they always give out way more money upon destruction. After this map is over, i setup everyone with better parts and the pilots on the correct mechs that i want as i am getting to a point where i have so many party members which far exceeds the deployment limit of most Maps that choosing who to use becomes tough sometimes however, Show and Daba will always be must haves in the party now because they are good (Broken in the case of Show) and because of Cham and Lilith having Good Luck so i will leave some of the upgrading for the next part. As always i will be detailing everything in the comments.
