I have made a start on exploring the various "reasonable" lens combinations that looked promising for a long depth of high intensity light beyond the focal point. However, the human eye is no good as a light intensity sensor beyond the point where it gets saturated so only these physical tests will define that intensity with cutting performance on standard test materials. There is much experimenting to do but this session demonstrates the methods I plan to use.
