With the luxury of a stepper controlled Z axis, I have always wanted to be able to quickly set the table to a different position and to set that position as Z=0 . There are a few ways to achieve this on a standard macine but all are rather tedious. . In this seession I show how to modify your machine to make setting Z=0 instant and at any table level.
