RC Modeler Magazine - RC Planes - Ideas and Inspiration
RC Modeler magazine was the premier RC model airplane magazine from around 1963 until it ended publication in 2005.
Each issue of RC Modeler (or RCM, as it was commonly referred to) had between 1-3 sets of full size RC model aircraft construction plans that you could order to build your version of the airplane. The plans were professionally drawn and of very high quality. Building from plans from any of the model aviation magazines is a great way to enjoy the hobby.
The originality of the RC model aircraft designers was and remains amazing. There are all sort of ideal that can inspire you to create a variation of that type of aircraft, or lead to some other iteration of the aircraft type.
In this video I'll go over some of the more interesting designs from RCM in their comprehensive plans catalog. The idea being you can get some ideas to create your own unique model aircraft design.
