1. If you land on the plum just as it passes under the wall here, you can ride it through the wall. You can jump from there to the upper exit, which normally leads to the blue orb. If the exit went to the right place, this trick would save several minutes. Unfortunately, it seems the exits are coded so that they always take you to the orange orb room first.
2. It may not be totally clear that I went into the top exit in the last clip, so I explored the area with moonjump. Here, I'm clearly using the top exit, but it still takes me to the orange orb room.
3. I used moonjump to make sure that the blue orb is the only one you need (if there were a way to actually get the blue orb first, that is). You can finish the level just fine if you only get the blue orb, but the Umber cutscenes are screwed up. Also of note is that as soon as you place the blue orb on the pedestal, you get warped to a certain spot on the bottom level of the room.
