This video shows my current strategies for Silo DLTK. I used the following settings:
Enemy health: 1000%
Enemy damage: 0%
Enemy accuracy: 100%
Enemy reaction speed: 100%
I also used a GameShark code by zoinkity to start the level with grenades. This code enables me to continue through the level even if I don't get enough grenade drops, making the level much easier to practice. My strategy requires two grenade drops; I got one in this run.
I took some hits in this run, but they were all avoidable. There were also multiple places that can go quite a bit faster. Here are some examples:
* If I had gotten to the catwalk after the second fuel room a few seconds earlier, I could have killed the patrolling guard with the grenade. I wouldn't have had to kill him in the next hallway, which would have saved me time and PP7 ammo. The ammo, in turn, would have saved me some time in the third fuel room.
* Two guards survived the explosive barrels in the third fuel room. Normally, none survive. On occasion, one survives. It's unusual for two to survive, so this part of the level is normally faster.
* Two guards survived my grenade before the fourth fuel room. It's possible to do better.
This run is a big milestone on the path to beating Silo DLTK. I'm going to continue practicing and hopefully try some real runs soon.
