This video shows a faster way to free the Teensy and get the nearby lums in Top of the World. By moving through this area in the way shown in the video, I'm able to get on the moving platform right before it leaves. Usually, I have to wait a while for the platform to get to me. This new method does involve some extra backtracking, but it still saves about four seconds.
This strategy is a little more complicated than it looks. You have to step in a certain zone to make the platform start moving and avoid stepping in a certain zone to avoid resetting the platform's position. Nonetheless, it seems this strategy can be done fairly consistently.
