This isn't executed optimally, but still saves time over my current Veldin TAS. Potentially possible RTA. Might not be worth going for on PS3 due to Qwarp/game lag.
How to:
1. Strafe as you jump off the dropship ramp
2. Charge as you land back on the dropship ramp
3. Immediately charge cancel (probably a ~3 frame window)
4. Swap weapon to Whip in start menu (dropship locks you out of using QS/recent weapons)
5. Strafe and DJ backwards onto roof of dropship
6. Charge off roof into Whip LJ
7. $$$

Honestly this planet is going to be really annoying to TAS optimally, wed have to time out Sinaflips and ILJs. I think maybe the optimal strat is to alternate Sinaflips and ILJs until the peak of your last long jump just puts you onto the taxi, but I only realised that subsequent to finishing the TAS, after a discussion with Slaughter. This will be made even more difficult by the fact that you cant ILJ/Sinaflip too close to the buildings because the ground beneath you will drop your ILJ/Sinaflips.
Either way I went straight up, then alternated until I could land on the every edge of the Taxi. Also, its difficult to gILJ on the spawn surface, you cant gILJ down slopes, which is why I just long jumped to the edge of the water. But you can gILJ over small gaps, like I did with the taxi.

Lashoxcin discovered a glitch where swapping off the Suck Cannon while a box or other object is being sucked in causes it to freeze in midair. When you swap back to the Suck Cannon, the object resumes its path to the gun. This persists after death as well.
You can use the frozen box to do a pseudo-infinite jump, as well as launch Ratchet really far with the right setup and crate angle. This launch isnt applied to Ratchets typical momentum values, and causes him to bounce off many sloped surfaces while the launch persists, as well as speed clip through surfaces.
This has some potential in Any% categories, and might let Ratchet do early LDF without flux flips or the Tyrrhaguise in a TAS setting, though if it worked itd be stupidly precise.

So there appears to be a set momentum cap on these, due to the fact that you have to do one sideflip per 6 frames at maximum, which gives you the most momentum, and any more frames send you into a longjump.
That said, I can see them being useful in quickly building up initial momentum, and for moving fast in tight or enclosed spaces where long jumps and sideflips would be too tight. Then again TAS could easily make those tricky jumps work fairly easily, so I dunno.
