In this video, I review and install this EcoGard air filter for our 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. Our vehicle had been experiencing intermittent power loss on hills, and after being told during an oil change that the air filter needed to be replaced, we decided to go ahead and try this filter.
I walk through the full installation process step by step using only a basic Phillips screwdriver so you can see exactly how to replace it yourself. I also compare the old filter to the new one and show how everything fits during installation.
In my experience, the installation process was very straightforward and the filter fit well. Although replacing the air filter did not end up solving the power loss issue we were troubleshooting, I still feel good about recommending this EcoGard filter based on the fact that it has great reviews and it fit our vehicle perfectly.
This filter is compatible with 2012 to 2017 Range Rover Evoque models as well as some Land Rover Discovery Sport models, but always double check compatibility for your specific vehicle before ordering.
