I originally bought this Columbia Omni-Shade hat because I wanted better protection from the sun while spending time outdoors. I wasn't too concerned about how it looked. My main goal was finding a comfortable sun hat that would help keep my face from getting burned.

Now that I've been using this Columbia Bora Bora Booney Hat for two years, I can honestly say it's become one of my favorite outdoor hats. It has done a great job protecting my face from the sun, and I've found that the Omni-Wick fabric really does help keep my head drier while hiking and spending time outside in warm weather.

In this review I show how the adjustable chin strap works in windy conditions, how the rear adjustment helps keep the hat secure, and how the material has held up after being washed multiple times over the past two years.

Overall, I've been really happy with this Columbia Omni Shade sun hat and I feel good about recommending it based on my own long-term experience.
