There are many types of domino videos- giant domino chains, screenlinks, and tutorials, to name a few. However, my favorite type of domino video has always been the compilation.
I am not the only builder who enjoys compilations. I am one of many domino builders on YouTube, and we all upload our own series of compilations. Domino compilations on YouTube go by many names- Domino Rally, Domino Projects, Domino Runs, and a few others. I have always called my compilations “Random Domino Videos”.
For years, domino compilations on YouTube have slowly changed as new techniques have emerged, domino brands have changed, and even music has grown more fitting to the videos. Random Domino Videos 7 may be my best compilation yet, and it symbolizes the modern-day compilation, very different than a domino compilation that would have been uploaded in the years past.
I spent a total of about 24 hours (spread across months) working on this video, and there are about 7,000 dominoes in total. I’ve been experimenting with new colors, new building materials, and tons of new techniques. I even tried to include one brand new trick in each project.
