Flash Domino | 13,000 Dominoes - The Most Risky Domino Chain Ever @flashdomino | Uploaded 8 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
This is my best video yet!
I tried a few new and exciting things for this project, definitely bringing me outside my comfort zone. First, I played with lots of different color combinations, despite keeping the colors separate in previous projects. Next, I tried to cram all these dominoes into only 120 square feet (11.14 square meters) of space, which proved to be a challenge up until the very last domino. Overcoming the test of space, though, shows just how compact my style can get.
My biggest obstacle, however, was the insane difficulty of a lot of these tricks within this giant project. A lot of these I didn't want to include and felt like scrapping, but I ended up testing them over and over before ultimately setting aside some space for them. This was my typical edgy domino project, but on a much larger scale.
With that in mind, though, I did have a few fails. Surprisingly, they were in the parts of the project where I did not expect any fails to happen, and I definitely could have prevented them with a little more insight. I'm kind of disappointed but I was able to edit them out. Just don't leave any comments about them haha.
Fails aside, I am proud of this visual spectacle, table turner, trail blazing domino project, planned and built in just three days. Hopefully now I can keep my title as king of edgy, risky domino projects for some time.
And to think that my summer vacation is just getting started...
