At 5:58 p.m., on December 7, 2015, Flashdomino reached one thousand subscribers!!!! It has finally happened, and I am so, so happy. To say thank you, here is my biggest project yet, with 11,111 dominoes!
1,000 subscribers has been a goal of mine for a very long time. It was always a milestone for me whenever one of my videos reached 1,000 views, so 1,000 subscribers is definitely the biggest milestone of all!
I wanted the theme of this project to be the most "Fictive" domino setup for a number of reasons. Fictive describes something that's created from imagination, like a story. This project references lots of movies, books, and YouTube videos, and to me, this gives it a certain storybook aspect.
However, this video isn't the only story on my channel. Every video I've posted, in a way, is a story. For three years, my domino projects have represented certain themes, moods, and pictures. They have been toppling, but at the same time they have been storytelling.
Reaching 1,000 subscribers has been my ultimate journey, and no, I can't imagine the story of my channel ends here. In fact, these have just been the first chapters. Thank you all so much, and I'm looking forward to sharing many more stories together.
