This is a very special deal to me. The movie "Ghost Town The Movie" produced by Dean Teaster, is special in so many ways. My love for Ghost Town in the Sky in Maggie Valley stems from childhood. I have heard so many people say they ought to make a movie there someday. That happened in 2007. To make it even more special, Rance Howard played the Sheriff in this western. Dean's father, Robert Doyle Teaster was Digger the Undertaker for many years at the attraction. Dean himself play the part in his father's footsteps. Also in included in this movie are a cast of those who were the "gunfighters" that entertained so many people of the years on top of Buck Mountain. I thank Dean Teaster, Executive Producer/Director, so much for allowing me to put this clip together to honor Rance Howard. Andy Griffith Show fans know Rance as the father of Ron and Clint Howard. He also played in quite a few of the episodes as various characters. As a kid living in southwestern Oklahoma in the late 50's and mid 60's, little did I know that Rance Howard was raised in Duncan about 30 miles from where I lived. Thank you Dean for giving me the permission to put this clip together to honor Mr. Howard. I dedicate this little project to his memory. #ghosttownmovie #maggievalley #smokymountains
