One man's dream come true was when Andy Barker decided to build a western town in North Carolina which became known as Love Valley. He was 29 years old when he decided to build the town on some land he had purchased and eventually moved there with his young family in the early 60's. He became the mayor of his town. It is said he did not build the town with tourist in mind, but things began to happen and it became a place for horse owners to go to for camping and trail riding. No cars are allowed in the town.
