Come with me for a stroll to the dock to see a the ruins and a replica of a 17th century sailing ship and a walk with a Ranger to hear a little of the history. There is much more to see if you get to go here, there is a zoo, a museum, and visitors center. There is also a former plantation home, the Lagare Waring House. You can also learn about the Native American history and the involvement of the slave trade. It is quite a large facility covering about 80 acres!
