Rainbow-coloured 'forgotten' Poldark sea cave lost forever in cliff fall

A sea cave from Holywell Bay, Cornwall, UK famed for its rainbow-coloured walls and legendary healing waters may have been lost forever after a major cliff collapse blocked its entrance.

The hidden cave, also known as St Cuthbert’s Cave, has attracted visitors for centuries and featured in the TV drama Poldark.

Coastguards have warned people to stay away from the area due to the risk of further rockfalls, while locals have described the apparent loss as a blow to Cornwall’s natural and cultural heritage.
