A photographer from Shropshire, UK has captured a stunning image of a sleeping butterfly silhouetted against a glowing sunset after a decade-long search.
Andrew Fusek-Peters, 61, finally photographed a common blue butterfly roosting on a stem in the Stiperstones Hills, perfectly aligned with the setting sun.
He said it took years of trying and only a few seconds of ideal conditions to achieve the rare shot, describing the moment as “ecstatic.”
