Look for sunny, dry and slightly warmer conditions Tuesday in the Valley with a forecast high of 101 degrees.

Drier air advecting into Arizona will cut storm chances Tuesday and Wednesday, but rain chances climb again starting Thursday. A tropical system is expected to develop in the next 24 hours in the Pacific, eventually drawing moisture into Arizona and the Southwest. Rain chances are near 40 percent for the Valley Thursday night and through the day Friday.
