During a parade, a flatbed semi tractor trailer carrying veterans was struck by a locomotive.
Fearless Eye travel to the site of the collision and documented the crossing, truck and locomotive using a total station, a laser scanner, photos and video. A 3D model of the area was produced and 3D models of the truck and locomotive were added. Using the locomotive video, a police dash camera, and a camera attached to another float, we were able to animate all of the vehicles on the scene, as well as, the locomotive and the crossing arms to illustrate the exact timing of the collision.
