Case Type: Trucking: Coffman v. Don's Equipment & Leasing
Description: While attempting to retrieve a bulldozer from a construction site, a semi truck had no other option but to back out into the road to exit. While slowly reversing, and trying to negotiate a culvert, phone poles and mud, a Ford Escape traveling in the far lane impacts the rear of the flatbed.
Visualizations Produced:
Based on 3D CADD data from the expert, a 3D model of the site was generated, textured based on photos, accurate lighting for the date and time of the accident was setup and the vehicles involved were placed. The vehicles were then animated to depict the accident as it happened, as well as three defensive maneuvers the driver of the Escape could have preformed to avoid the collision all together.
