My first time to the famous Oakland Jack London Square was a rather interesting one. It's too much to type but I'll just say that we were six (6) hours late arriving into Oakland. A BNSF freight train broke down on single track in Fresno which made Amtrak 713 and 715 late so we just combined trains to make a double set, which is seen in the video. And the two star Oakland Jack London Inn lived up to its rating... Though the railfanning was awesome which made up for all the other not so awesome stuff. I saw my favorite cab car, CDTX 8311, hence why it is in my name. I barely got the MOAOA returning back as I was up the street having lunch but I ran as fast I could (like a wild foamer) and got it just in time with a nice ACe leader and a horn spam. Also got my favorite F59PHI again, CDTX 2013, rocking that amazing K5LA horn. Also got the P5 cab car again heading to Auburn. Got a few more freights to close out the day before I got on Amtrak 718 to come home. I hope to return here soon but not spend the night... Enjoy part 2 of railfanning Oakland!
