Lakshmipriya concluded her recital with a Javali in Ragam Khama's. Jāvaḷis are supposed to be lighter pieces as compared to Kṛitis as the theme of the Jāvaḷi is predominantly śṛiṅgāra rasa.
The Khamās handled in this Jāvaḷi is very different from that handled in the kṛitis and some of the phrases are seen only in this Jāvaḷi. For instance, the very first phrase is ‘PNNS’ with kākali niṣāda, which is a rare occurrence and is not seen in the other forms like kiṛtis, where kaiśiki niṣāda has a more significant place.
