How to raise the windscreen wiper blades on modern Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, or put them into their 'service position'. You can't lift the wiper arms normally as they hit the bonnet edge, but the car can turn the arms so they will clear.
The car shown is a Mk6 Golf but the instructions apply generally for many late model VAG cars.
Other advice out there instructs to run the engine but you don't need to!
