Removing and replacing the alternator (generator) on the petrol Duratec. A little awkward but perfectly doable. The car featured is a Mk3 Mondeo (2000-07); the alternator set-up does not vary much on the Duratec range but access may differ a little.

You will need:
* Jack & axle stands
* Socket set with ratchet & breaker bar & short extension
* Torque wrench suitable to 47 NM
* Flashlight
* Voltmeter.
